Sandhill Crane Migration Trip
March 29 and 30, 2022. Journey along the Platte River valley and experience hundreds of thousands of beautiful Sandhill cranes during their majestic spring migration. This is a must-see tour where you will enjoy one of nature's treasures, and is also a great chance for unique birding and photography opportunities.
The tour includes two private viewings (evening at sunset and morning at sunrise) of the Sandhill cranes at Rowe Sanctuary in Kearney, Neb., transportation, hotel accommodations, meals and snacks, as well as a stop at the The Crane Trust. Registration and payment are due by February 28.

Please note: The blind is a 1/2 mile walk on muddy and uneven ground with no alternative transportation. The sunrise viewing will require walking in the dark with only supplemental light. Join us on a day trip bus tour to Kansas City’s Botanical Gardens. We will be visiting Powell Gardens, Kauffman Gardens, and Jacob Loose Park.
This tour will leave in the morning from Lauritzen Gardens and arrive back late evening.
All food will be provided. Please note that we will have a picnic lunch and a BBQ dinner. Due to the location of dinner, we will not be able to offer vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free options. Please email m.burianek@omahabotanicalgardens.org if you have any dietary questions before you register.
The last day to register is August 16th. All cancellations must be made before August 16th. Refunds and cancellations will not be processed after August 16th.
