Join us to learn about the stylistic elements of vintage botanical specimen paintings. Explore a bit of the history of collecting and preparing botanical specimens and try your own hand at recreating the look! While no watercolor or drawing experience is needed for this class, students are encouraged to take beginning watercolor as a head start to the principles used for these paintings. All materials are provided but students may bring along a sketchbook and preferred drawing medium if desired.
