This form is to REGISTER to participate and play chess against local chess master Nate Solon in "The Garden's Gambit".
Each $20 registration is good for one player and play will be limited to 20 players. All boards and necessary supplies will be provided.
If you wish to attend the outdoor chess simul as a spectator, please reserve tickets for August 25 (this was rescheduled from August 18) at lauritzengardens.org/tickets.
Play is slated to be outside in the garden (weather permitting) so please dress appropriately for the weather. Should weather be too hot or rainy, play will be relocated indoors.
Please arrive by 12:45 p.m. to ensure that you are present for event instructions. Play will begin promptly at 1 p.m. and finish at approximately 4 p.m. (depending on play time).
The Lauritzen Gardens cafe will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to purchase snacks or meals.
