Sandhill Crane Migration Trip

March 22 and 23, 2023. Journey along the Platte River valley and experience hundreds of thousands of beautiful Sandhill cranes during their majestic spring migration. This is a must-see tour where you will enjoy one of nature's treasures and is also a great chance for unique birding and photography opportunities.

The tour includes two private viewings (evening at sunset and morning at sunrise) of the Sandhill cranes at Rowe Sanctuary in Kearney, Neb. and the Crane Trust, transportation, hotel accommodations, meals and snacks. Registration and payment are due by February 22.


Single occupancy rate: $450, $425 for garden members

Double occupancy rate: $400, $375 for garden members

Please note: The blind is a 1/2 mile walk on muddy and uneven ground with no alternative transportation. The sunrise viewing will require walking in the dark with only supplemental light.
