This event is no longer on sale.

Saturday June 24

9:00 AM  –  11:00 AM

This workshop begins outdoors looking at examples of plants that make good paper. We'll discuss where, when, and how to collect plants suitable for papermaking. Participants will create their own sheets of paper using pulp from locally sourced plants and cloth rag. Students will practice European-style sheet forming technique and create a small edition of handmade paper to take home.

Supplies included. Clothing that can get water on it and is comfortable to wear outdoors is recommended.

$40, $30 for garden members. Pre-registration is required.
