Come and learn about the history and science of Indigofera tinctoria as well as getting your hands into a vat for an in vivo learning experience. New and seasoned dyers are welcome to this class. The instructor will be teaching basic fabric resist techniques, including shibori, so that participants can add pattern and intrigue to their fabrics. A tester fabric will be provided. In addition, feel free to bring your own natural based fabrics or garments: cotton, silk, wool, hemp, etc. $40 for members/$50 for non-members.
