Join the Omaha Chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers for a monarch tagging event on Saturday, September 11th at Lauritzen Gardens! With registration, you will enjoy a 15-minute presentation by Dr. Ted Burk from Creighton University about monarch butterflies and how tagging them aides in data collection of migration patterns, then you'll go out and get some hands-on experience catching monarchs for the zookeepers to tag. You will also gain access to the garden for the day of the event. Age 13+ $15 for non-members/$5 for members.
