This class will explain form and free verse poetry, explore ways of structuring poetry to affect the voice in your poetry, and show ways of playing with free verse to emphasize and change how a poem is read. Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to poetry or have been writing for years. Please bring a notebook, your favorite writing utensil, and any questions you may have about writing poetry!
