This introductory spinning class will help you go from fluff to stuff! Learn about different types of supported and suspended (drop) spindles and learn the ancient practice of creating yarn. Students will have the opportunity to learn basic vocabulary, try different techniques and learn the science behind the fiber magic! 

Students are encouraged to bring a spindle they already own but this is not required to participate as a variety of spindles will be available to try. Fiber will be provided, this class involves the use of animal fiber, specifically wool or alpaca, all fibers are humanely and when possible, locally or American sourced.

$50, $40 for garden members.

Pre-registration is required one week in advance of the course. Each registration is for one individual 16 years and older.
