Capture the wonder of new growth in your sketchbook! We will explore techniques for drawing and shading stems and delicate new growth. Work in graphite and colored pencil.

Materials needed: 9”x12” tracing paper and drawing paper, sketchbook or drawing paper, 2H and HB pencils, basic set of 12 artist’s quality colored pencils (please avoid the Prismacolor specialty and botanical sets, as they do not have the colors we need), ruler or dividers, magnifying glass and booklight (optional).
