Birdability Hike

Saturday April 27

9:00 AM  –  10:30 AM

Join us for a leisurely birding experience during the peak of spring migration at Lauritzen Gardens!  This will be an inclusive and accessible bird outing for all skill levels and for those with mobility or health concerns. Led by the president of the Audubon Society of Omaha, Christine Prescott, the route will be approximately 1.5 miles in total and will be exclusively on asphalt and concrete, with several benches and stops along the way.  Wheelchair-accessible bathrooms will be available at the start and end of the tour. Please note: There is a large hill at the beginning of the tour that can easily be avoided by taking an alternative route.  Participants should let the guide know if a detour works best for them.

Pre-registration is required. Each registration is for one individual 16 years and older.
